Painting by local artist and RRAC supporter, Thomas P. Fehlner
The Fehlner Family Gallery Dedication 2023
The Roti Roti Art Center (RRAC) was pleased to announce that Thomas P Fehlner donated $100,000 to their endowment at Michigan Gateway Community Foundation. RRAC’s main gallery will be named The Fehlner Family Gallery.
Thomas P Fehlner is Emeritus Grace-Rupley Professor of Chemistry at the University of Notre Dame. Tom and his late wife, Nancy, were instrumental in volunteering with the RRAC from its beginning in 2005 to help fund its programming. Tom became more involved with drawing and painting after his retirement from the University. He taught and attended classes at the Center, and helped write grants for capital improvements in the galleries. He continues to take a keen interest in supporting the Center’s activities.
The Roti Roti Art Center of Buchanan is located at 117 W Front St, Buchanan, MI. RRAC was founded in 2005 as the Buchanan Art Center, and renamed in 2022 as a result of an endowment from Joseph and Patricia Roti Roti. The RRAC mission is to provide a place in the community dedicated to nurturing the arts, offering classes, galleries and a gift shop with local art, in addition to events.
Admission is free. For more information, contact rotirotiartcenter@gmail.com, www.rotirotiartcenter.com or 269-697-4005.
